was locked out of the house today. hmmz..it's been quite some time since that happened. thank goodness i bought my lunch, so i happily sat down at the garden table and ate. had to ration out my water...heh. in case i didnt have enough to last and in case i had to go to the loo. overlooked that point initially. thought i was well-equipped enough, despite being outside the house. didnt feel like making a phone call to look for dad to come home to open the door so just waited outside and wrote the testimonials. quite enjoyable actually...other than a couple of irritating insects which hovered around occassionally. then they finally came home. back to the luxuries: sweetcorn ice cream and an endless flow of drink. heh. sounds like some dumb adventure camp.
prelims were pretty disappointing but im grateful enough. in fact, it ended up as "best case"...but my overall grades slipped quite a bit. argh..it's over.
one more week to the closure of school. thanks to the sec 1s for completing the autographs in time. really love them. :)
probably wont be getting access to the PC for the nx two days...in the process of moving.

dad and i worked out the "best case" and "worst case" for my prelim results. the worst case shocked me. it must never happen. dont want to end up regretting again...seems like it always happens during each major national examination.
daphne's freaking out at home. weird girl. called me because she forgot diana tang's name. like wth? okay.......going a bit insane there...fancy thinking of diana tang all of a sudden, haha! apparently she was worrying abt tmr's maths results and so diana tang came to mind. oh wells...i shant freak out till tmr. :)
daph told me sth real funny today. she said that asvega addressed me as "dwong" and "dw" and "wong"...like total weirdo?! i'd rather she stick to denise wong. not like im real close to her or sth. laughed my ass off when i heard abt it. the comical things asvega does man. she supposedly called me those names while passing her english essay to the back. suet li who was behind her was rather baffled, especially when she said "wong". suet li gave a puzzled look and said, "denise wong?" my goodness...i cannot stand it! i think asvega and daphne are hitting it off too well...such that asvega is regarding me as some best friend of hers too. hahaha. i should find some affectionate name for her too. heh. shall ask daph to come up with ideas tmr. :D

was writing the part two of paper one halfway until i realised that i was writing out of point. it always pays to read the question many times before answering it. decided to give up the handwritten attempt and type the entire thing out instead. thank god for computers. things are really expedited many-fold.
other than that, im proud to say that i still managed to finish my homework for the weekend! *cheers* :D okay, other than the fact that i omitted the graph and loci questions in the maths d papers...haha. :P still... it was some remarkable feat overcoming my reluctance to get myself back to studying.
finished the two adrian moles..despite trying to slow down my reading speed....it's just way too fun and interesting! reading it quickly is a total waste. started reading from the beginning all over again...heh...shant return it till a later date..when ive finally gotten enough of it. :) meanwhile shall go check out for the later editions....sue townsend had better keep writing to address my hunger for adrian mole. [that last line somehow seems to bear certain sexual connotations, haha]
"The US Fish and Wildlife Service..." cant help thinking of fish each time i read that phrase. :)
